Sadly, we lost another great Ford Tractor man this past week. Dwight Emstrom, one of a handful of men who began to restore early Ford 9N?s back in the late 80?s/early 90?s passed away on Wednesday at his home. He was 85. If you ever met Dwight you know he was a gentleman farmer and great man to talk to. Among Dwight's massive collection of Ford tractors was his earliest 9N serial number tractor know to exist -s/n *9N-16* and is featured in virtually every modern Ford Tractor book published. He will be missed for sure. Rest In Peace, Dwight.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dwight at several F/FCA shows and also I got to meet him and John Smith 3 years ago at Dwights private museum. BTW, there are 4 9N's with cast aluminum hoods in that museum among some other fantastic machines.
I hope the family is not inundated with wolves calling or knocking on their door trying to pressure the family to sell everything.
My condolences to his family and may he rest in peace.
