I have a crack on a 2N that I purchased years ago, about 32. It has a Wagner front loader on it. The oil pan appears to have been cracked around the second bolt hole on the right side of the tractor. Last year or so I noticed it leaking some oil, only when it was run and then would continue a short time afterward. I think I finally found the area or two where it was leaking. It is right close to the oil pan flange, but on the side of the pan. I cleaned the area with brake cleaner and re-patched with JB weld. That stopped the majority of the leak. However I still got a dribble to the rear of where the groove is for the bolt. I cleaned it again yesterday with brake clean and reapplied more JB weld to the new area. My question is if I need to remove the oil pan can I first jack the tractor up a little at the transmission area and then place a jack stand under to transmission to support it, and then jack up the front of the tractor a very little bit and place another jack stand under the loader where it bolts to the front axle assembly, and then remove the oil pan, by removing all of the bolts attached to the oil pan?
