another rare one.

HAHAHAHA!!! Which war was in 1947? "RARE" ??? Really ??? What makes it rare? Another case of just not knowing nor getting it. Many folks believe that every 2N tractor was a 'war-time' steel-wheel/magneto model. The facts are only about 10,000 ? 10% units were made from late 1942 thru early 1943. Looks liek8NRunningBiards added, and, wow, a bonus, it is being converted to 12 volts -hoo-boy zippity doo-dah! It most likely doesn't run now and thus the switchover. Nothing wrong with 12 Volts so hold your cards and letters please.

Looks like a decent old tractor for the price.
Has a rivited bumper. The weight is off a 4000 or 5000. Worth about a buck a pound = ~$80

History class must have failed me I don't recall the war of 1947, also I see it has the rare original front weight, very rare for 1947 since they started producing them in 1965 for the thousand series tractors

At least his price is realistic . It is more than most of us would pay but it is not out of line for an asking price .
