I'm guessing those are shop built?
Looks like the right brake pedal may lack clearance.

As Bill said steelcraft running boards and like all of the few I have seen the wheel guards were removed.

Yep, Bill & Kirk got it nailed down. The SteelCraft Co. supplied a cab for the 9N tractor early on and you needed to use those special running boards in order to assemble the entire unit to the tractor. I've seen many N's with these on, some with the cab, some without. I have a complete unit including the running boards,in perfect condition, no rust, no dents, no cracks, no welds. I had it blasted and painted years ago just never installed it on my early 9N.

Here are some pix of my restored SteelCraft Cab, freshly blasted and painted. An observant eye will note I have the rear frame brace upside down. I was just posing them for pictures. The special running boards are still in the paint booth. All offers considered?email open.

One final note on the SteelCraft Running Boards. The cab was first offered for the 9N, which had no running boards you already know. That's why they supplied the special ones as shown. When the 8N Model came out with OEM running boards, the cab was still offered as an optional accessory, only now did not require the SC running boards as the stock 8N ones would work. I've seen ads and actual 8Ns with the OEM running boards and the cab attached. I have assembly/instruction sheets on fastening the cab to both the 9N and the 8N.
