9N clutch rod

Is there a difference in the legnth of the clutch rod on a 9N, vs. an 8N tractor. Having a problem adjusting mine. so that I can utilize the clutch/brake system on the
left side of my 9N.

Yes they are completely different rod. I think you are adjusting the wrong thing. I will try to remember to take photos of my 9n tomorrow.

I think someone used a 8N rod on this 9N and modified the clutch pedal to accommodate the difference. I took it off and the pins need replacing. Do you know where I can find two new pins? Thanks for your information.

North AL you may check mid South Salvage in Decatur. Also Cross Creek Tractor in Cullman. Mid South may have correct part. Google search they pop right up.

there is 9n pedal and rod on ebay right now but they are mighty proud of it.

make one. I did with a rod. threaded one end for an adjuster / coupler, and then welded a clevis to the other.

I don't see how adjusting the clutch will make a difference on the brake. To adjust the brake so it will work with the clutch pedal. you need to loosen the bolt on the brake paw bracket and move the bracket up and down.
