Tie rod ends

We put a new Tie rod end on my 8n, when I try to grease it i can't get it to take grease, any help here.

remove the fitting see if it takes grease. sometimes you get one that has a bad zerk.

if the zerk passes grease, reinstall it and jack up the front a bit and take pressure off that joint and rotate it and see if it takes grease.

Give the little ball at the end of the zerk a poke with the tip of a nail

I tried a straight pin, little ball is good.

I jacked up the front end to take pressure off, still won't take grease, I also replaced with another zerk, still won't take grease.

Does the pin move freely in the socket?

I'm in for the night I will do more checking tomorrow, also tip on grease gun is new.
