1939 9N air intake oil bath quantity

Recently tore apart the oil bath air filter for a 1939 Ford 9N On the lip below the snap ring red arrow in picture is pointing to where the following it reads caution oil level must be flush with top of center peak what exactly does that mean and more specifically what does center peak mean Does that mean flush with the little stud in the middle thats higher than everything else or flush with the center peak of where the little center stud comes out from Thanks for any help

Psa I did research and couldnt find anything on this specifically

Alrighty, so fill oil to the bottom of little center stud aka to the top of that center dome where the little stud comes out from.
 
Ok 1 pint is what spec says but I cant find that in any books And a pint to fill line but this post was originally to determine what the fill line was
 
I don't know what 'books' you have, but the original 9N/2N Service Manual has this information in it, on pages 6 and 7, "MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE". That is one of the essential owner/operator manuals, the lime green cover manual shown in my picture. It's also listed in the 8N Operator Manuals as well.
