Hopefully I'll get it finished this week/weekend.
For now, here are a few "preview" pictures.

Thanks Mike. It's the little details that always take up my time.

This steering arm dust boot drove me nuts until I realized it was

actually an optical illusion in the picture. It's actually seated right.

Looks pretty good Fred!
I've got mine back on four wheels, but still have a ways to go.

"You know I'm just having a little fun, just like these little Ford's are fun."

Yes, I enjoy tearing them apart, fixing them up and painting them.

Last night I found a couple of pieces that did not get painted when

I painted the rest of the gray parts, so now I'll have to roll the rest

of it outside and paint gray again before I can finish it.

I have no doubt that you will finish yours first Fred.

Especially since I'm at work 8-12 hours a day M-F! :)

Looks like mine is disassembled quite a bit further as well.

Dash, gauges, all lines, wiring, fan, hoses, floorboards, steering
arms and draglinks, radius rods, 3pt hitch arms, oil and air filters,
battery box, manifold, exhaust, doglegs, tires from the rims, etc.
All removed in preparation for painting.

You know I'm just having a little fun, just like these little Ford's are fun. What other tractor can you tear apart as far as you want to and doesn't take forever to put back together!

Many of us own more than one model and/or brand. Different uses.

They're no harder to work on, just different.
Easier to paint since they're all the same color.

Most parts are readily available for the Cubs although I spent a
couple of years trying to track down a good used bull gear housing.

Now I know who to go to for advice. I am hoping not to get booed off the N board, but how do you find working on the cubs compared to the Ns? Easier, harder, same but different? Do you find parts are just as easy to find? Just curious.

"I would also say your going to have a lot of red table tops."

LOL Yeah, they've already been at least three shades of red,

Ford blue, four grays, Allis Chalmers orange, Case orange and
John Deere green. They're getting pretty heavy! ;)
