2N PTO

I have a 1946 2N # 230823.. Runs great
It has a FRONT PTO but I have never seen one or heard of one.
It looks like the grill is original.
Any comment about it ?

Can you post a photo of how it's hooked up? front crank pulley. I have seen ones that run off the rear pto with a gear and chain and transferred to the front for snowblower and winch applications. Here's
one off one of my later 4000 series. Is the hook up similar to this. If you can't post a photo send it to my email is open I will post it for you. Maybe ran a snowplow like the last photo

I think it had a pulley on it that a belt ran to a saw or someother motor.

Most likely ran a front mounted hydraulic pump, left over from a front end loader that was once attached.
