overrunning clutch

I have a 8N that I use with an old brush hog. The overrunning clutch just fell off. If I remember right there was a roll pin that held the clutch on the tractor pto shaft. My problem... I think the roll pin was "recessed" so that the outer shell was free to turn but I'm not sure?? Also would be nice to know the size of the roll pin I need. Thanks in advance for any help. EGBinOR

If it just fell off, I think you need more than a roll pin. How big is the hole in the PTO shaft? you need a pin that will be tight in that hole.

A new ORC likely comes with a 5/16 by 2 inch roll pin... As the PTO shafts get worn, you can see where they might break a roll pin...

You may be well advised to disassemble the ORC and clean it well.... crap accumulates.. :)
