Finally it"s back!

I posted on here before about getting my 8n engine back from the machine sop after 9 months. Well, it never happened. Seems like the old man that owns the place, used to work on the ns years ago, & he wouldn't let anyone else in the shop touch it. He is in bad health, had an operation during this time, & I was just as bad. After he started getting around, he worked on it. I kept checking, and it was always tomorrow or next week, or they needed one more part. Finally, yesterday he called, and said "Come get it".
Sounds like he rebuilt or replaced everything. Now all I need is to find someone who will put it back together.

I remember your first post. If you lived close I would offer to help, but if I remember right, you live in Florida. I could hardly live any farther away.

Maybe you could try asking for help on Craigslist. Folks in your area looking at tractors on Craigslist may offer help.

What about the shop were it is located, will they do it , for a fee of course.
ince I have become disabled, my wife has had to take over everything on our little 10 acre patch of land. When we got the engine back, She wanted to see if she could install it. With me setting on a stool giving instructions, not only did she
get that done, but rehung the front end, tires & all, in just about 3 hours. What a gal!!![/img]
