This old 9n is for sale on Kijiji at La Ronge Saskatchewan, asking price one thousand. (I have no connection to it)

It is definitely a late '39 9N. I see double ribbed fenders, correct dash with starter button and ignition "ON" lamp on LH side. No 4-spoke steering wheel nor aluminum grille but those can be now bought repopped. The generator is a later replacement meaning not the original small 2-wire/2-brush 9N-A one, which would also mean the original rectangular voltage regulator is gone too. The rear wheel hubs are riveted meaning the smooth ones were replaced. I can't tell if the smooth doglegs are there. A good restoration project if block ain't cracked and it runs.

Yes, it looks to me to be the original 9N-400-A pan seat, excluding the farmerized back brace. The 9-hole, non-flippable seat was used on early al 9Ns. It also shows the welded and center riveted large support disc too.

I have a early 40 9n that has all the features of this 39, except for the fenders. I would love to get that tractor except that I already have to many tractors.
