Ignitor electronic ignition question

Hi folks, I have a 2n, 6 volt positive ground, front
distributor, and have just installed new Ignitor electronic
ignition and wanted to know: what to do now with the wire on
the harness that runs from the C terminal to the (old)coil?
The Ignitor instructions have you run the black wire on the
unit to the key ignition, and that's working fine, but with
no old coil on top of the distributor, do you just cap off
that wire? Thank you!

The correct answer is to call the toll free Pertronix phone number. If you insist on another approach, you need to provide information as to Pertronix part number (they sell MANY!) and define such terms as "C" terminal.

It's your tractor and your $$$ so you can do whatever you wish, but, my advice if adding EI, is to also do a correct 12-volt switch over job. There are 6V EI jobs but by going with 12V and EI, you will be much happier, less worries, and less maintenance.
