I always post on the classic, what is the purpose reason and difference for both
classic and modern. Is there anyway to extract or add to a post on classic after it
is posted. I have seen a few times where someone posts a reply to a post from days
before and it shows up at the top of page 1. How daydodat

I think modern view kicks back to the top when there is a new comment.

Display order is the principle difference. Modern view pushes the most active threads to the top of the list - i.e. the thread with the most recent response is displayed at the top of the list and the remainder ordered by response/post time below it. Classic view displays threads in the chronological order they were created. Editing and deleting posts in either view has been disabled for quite some time.
