Order of exhaust and intake values. correct me if wrong. I'm trying to adjust the valves.. 8n front mount distributor has about 12 hours on it since rebuilt.. looking at the valves, (head is on) two cover plates off. cyl #1 right valve exhaust-left valve intake. cyl number 2, 3, 4 should be the same. Is this sequence correct. thanks

It's been a couple of years, but if I remember correctly, they alternate. You can tell for sure by looking at the exhaust and intake ports on the head. Number 1 and 2 share an intake port and number 2 and 3 share an exhaust port as an example.

Thanks Jim for your response I am not wanting to remove the hood or the head to make the checks. My manual is not clear on exhaust valve location and I am not certain looking at the manifold. think I will have to study it a little closer.

They go front to back starting with EX IN IN EX EX IN IN EX
