A friend called me and Had some extra soybean seeds and asked could I use them. So i stuck the 16" one bottom trip plow on my '40 and with a pocket full of #2 bolts when out back and plow another food
plot. I'm usually done planting the food plots by this time but couldn't pass up the free seeds.

I can't see it real well but it looks like he has a Ford 101 plow on it.
Those are a trip plow and it breaks a bolt when it trips the bottom.

Manual trip plow
When bottom trips reset with shear pin or bolts
In my rocky terrain it trips quite a bit thus the pocket full of bolts
