Newbie Question About Ignition Switch ! Please Help

Purchased a new keyed ignition switch for my new tractor because the previous owner lost the keys. I have included a pic of the current ignition. My issue is the replacement I bought has a yellow wire and a black wire and that's it. What do I need to hook where. I am new to these tractors. This tractor has also been converted to 12v without the resistor. Any help would be appreciated.

As a newbie, having the essential owners manuals as shown below are just as important as owning a wrench. Get yourself a copy of the original Operator's Manual; the I&T F-04 Manual; the 39-53 MPC (Master Parts Catalog); a Dennis Carpenter parts catalog; and the 8N Service Manual with the latter two optional but valuable nonetheless.

What year do you have? Is it with a front mount distributor or side mount?

I am sorry I left out that critical information. It is a 1952 with side mount distributor. Sory
 
You show a switch with two terminals, 2 wires on one, one wire on the other. You bought a switch with two terminals/wires (yellow & black). Either yellow or black to the pair of wires on your old switch and black or yellow to the single wire. Colors make no difference, yellow or black. Try your new key in old switch first, it might work.
