8n Front Distributor Timing

What is the best way to do this? I have it removed and will get the points changed out today.

A member on this board makes and sells a jig
to set the timing on front mount distributors.
I just got mine and haven't had a chance to use
it yet.But I ordered it and it arrived four days later.

Thanks for the info, i couldnt find the book i have buried somewhere in a desk drawer. Going to look into that Jig too

If you go to the NTC site, you can get a ton of free downloads in the HOW-TO's forum and MANUALS forum, including instructions on how to do a tune-up on the front mount distributor. It is highly recommended that if you wanna be an N-Owner that you invest in at least three of the essential manuals. A copy of the 8N Operator's Manual, the I&T F-04 Manual, and a copy of the 39-53 MPC (Master Parts Catalog) are valuable tools.
