NAA Radius Rod Cap & Studs

Bought new Radius Rod Cap. It is 1/4" thicker than original. the two 7/16-14-20 3.56" studs are too short. Any one replace their studs ? If so where did you get them ? Yes, I could buy a pair of die nuts and make my own. Just wondering.

Thanks for the reply Jim

The aftermarket cap will work, but I'll have to make longer studs. Need to find a pair of 7/16 bolts to modify.

Just use bolts.

Thanks TOH

I did in fact use bolts. 4" 7/16-20 and cut the heads off and threaded the other end 7/16-14. It was a chore getting a small die nut to start but I got it done. It was sad to remove the original "Ford Made in U.S.A. cap and replace it with a generic one. Compromises have been made, but not willingly. It may be the case for your upgrade pump too.

TwoOaks, sorry for my misinfo. yesterday. I had to leave to go to my last bowling for the season in just a few minutes, so kind of got in a hurry. Then as I was driving out of the driveway I realized what you were referring to. Glad to see that you got it fixed.
