What is a decent price for a set of hat rims in good condition ? I have a set listed on craigslist here in SE AZ for $300 and no takers. Am I asking too much ? One has a spot of some kind of goop repair

It could be the "goop repair" is scaring off your customers. A pig in a poke sorta thing?

Where are you located? I have 2 pair of solid "Hats" in SE Michigan that I will sell. One set has been
sand blasted and primed, $400. One pair as dismounted, very solid, $300.

I've seen them go for that much if structural. how much metal is left under that paint/repair?
