Wagner WM4 loader hydraulic question

Hey all!! The hubby and I are putting together a 49 8n with a
42 9n engine and a Wagner wm4 loader. So far we have it all
together we have been loading the hydraulic fluid but have hit
a snag. We were looking for bleed valves to get the air out
since we put new lines on it and we just can?t find them.
Anyone have any suggestions on bleeding the air out of the
system?
This is our first tractor and we?ve been working on it all winter
fixing it and replacing worn parts. The loader has all new
hydraulic lines, and we know the pump works because we
tested it with one line loose and it shot fluid across the barn
(oops). Any info about our loader would be super helpful.
Thanks!!
Audrey

The system is not sealed. The loader frame is the fluid resevor. Look at the highest point on the inside of the tube frame. There should be a small hole, maybee 3/16" on each. These are vents. As Bob said, cycle the loader up and down and the bucket. Any air should clear.

So we have run the tractor on and off for the lasts 2 hours. The pistons never moved. We made sure all the hoses were tightened, none are leaking. Could it be the hydraulic controls there is a little oil leaking from hem and they are pretty loose., Would it take hours to cycle all the air out? Shouldn?t it move a little? All the pivot points are greased, the oil is new and we have added it to an inch below fill top. Could it be the pistons/cylinders? Feeling a little defeated at the moment because we just can?t find an obvious issue. Thanks!

On my later wagner loader, there is a vent cap up high on the right side frame, like was said, just work it up and down, it should push all the air out.

Yes - it should move. If the cylinders don't operate nothing is cycling. Your problem is not air in the system - it is no oil flow. Start by verifying flow and pressure right at the outlet from the pump and work forward section by section in the circuit from there until you find the problem.

Should not take more than a couple of cycles of the controls and full travel of the cylinders. For whatever reason, you are not getting pump pressure to the cylinders. Intake plugged, filter plugged, pump not turning, valve spool not aligned with ports, cylinder piston seals blown? All are possibilities.
