My pump is getting weak I replaced the safety valve. What makes it weak the springs or the pistons. Can the side plates get worn. It’s a 8 N - 1948

Bruce gave you good advice to verify pump pressure with a gauge.

Leaky valves and bore/piston wear will diminish pump output.

Unless valves seal against their seats, it isn't going to work correctly, just like in an engine that valves won't seal.

Piston to wall clearance is sub one thousandths (there are no piston rings, so sealing depends on the very small clearance)

Have you leak checked the ram? If not, put on your heaviest implement and pull the side inspection plate. Lift implement and shut off tractor. Use flashlight to check for leaks.

I have a heavy dirt blade and it won't pick it up if I turn the blade around. I just replaced the hyd cyl and piston O ring. The blade will stay up for 30 min before hitting the ground. I use it to push snow and if theirs a wet snow the tractor won't pick up blade.

Since there is no sign of leak down suspicions move to the pump or relief valve. I'd start by checking the relief valve.
