hydraulic lever sticking

howdy gentlemen on my 39 everything works but the hydraulic lift handle is a bear to adjust do you think I need to tear into it and replace the friction disk or just lubricate it

I would certainly try external lubrication first. If no joy, then you will need to pull the lift cover. The linkages in the lift cover receive no lubrication and may stiffen up over time.

agreed.. may be some corrosion on the shaft at the mounting location to the casting.

There is nothing inside to lubricate on the N lift. Maybe lubricate behind the friction disc on the control shaft.
