Scary looking hitch - I've seen photos of busted differentials with that type of hitch.

I also agree. Looks a bit like my'40 9n. I like that rusty patina so much that when I changed out the back half of the tractor I paint the rusty patina to match. Even the original owner of the tractor couldn't see the difference. Here a photo from this past weeks snowstorm

Kirk, If I had your `40 model, I wouldn`t want to paint it either...It`s just plain cool the way it is!!!

5 to 6 years from now after I teach my grandsons how to FISH I have one just like that we can get started on that is if Baseball does not get in the way...
