9N Solid State cut out

Hang on to your hats folks... I am holding in my hand a prototype solid state 9N / 2N cut out (6V + ground). It has the exact dimensions and look of the original (including the Ford Script) without the worry of hanging up and draining your battery. To look at it you would be none the wiser.

After a shake down run on my 9N the company will be putting them into production.
 
They've been around for years on Model A Fords. Someone figured out there was a market for them on Ford tractors. 1939-47. I've also seen them for less money w/o the Ford script.

iven those $80-100 prices, those may be actual voltage regulators like the Fun Projects, Inc. VR's, instead of just a diode in a can.
 
I make my own for myself and others using an $.85 diode ( bridge rectifier )
