Grandpa done ran off with the tractor again !

My nephews keep trying to talk me in to building a similar one.
I pay for it, do all the work to build and test it, then they drive it.
When they change their attitudes on at least part of that, I might.

But it wouldn't have Ag tires on the rear.

Well I don't want to spend another man's money, but Lawson, ole buddy, I think you need to at least build a hot V8 flathead N tractor. You've got all those old tractors, that's a sure way to get the next generation interested!

The rest of you guys need to check to see if you have a pulse ! I can't believe 100 people saw that top video and didn't comment about how dang great that flathead V8 sounded ! To me that sound is as primal as watching a camp fire. To each his own I guess.

Yup,that and Y block V8s, When I see one at a car show,I always ask the owner if he'll
please start it so I can listen

I have a 8N and a good friend has a flathead V8 under a bench at his shop.

Hmmmmm.

Does it bolt up to the tranny or is a plate needed?
 

There is an adapter plate needed that lengthens the wheel base a few inches but I don't recall part no. or the name the maker, but I'm sure someone here does......
