If finding a backyard mechanic fails, phone Yesterday's Tractors. I'm sure they know every commercial tractor repair facility in your neck of the woods.

I'm not sure if you want someone to fix it, or someone to help YOU fix it.

I feel your pain, joth. I felt the same way after I first bought my 8N and it broke down. However, I could find no one to come over to my place and help me fix it, nor was it cost-effective to have it flatbed-towed to a tractor repair shop. Also, repair shops didn't really want to work on it because the repairs could easily exceed the value of the tractor, and they were afraid I'd get "customer's remorse" and refuse to pay for it. So I had to bite the bullet and learn to work on it myself, with a lot of help from the kind gentlemen on this forum. It wound up giving me a great deal of satisfaction to learn the inner workings of my tractor and how to repair it, and I'd suggest that you do the same.

First thing is to buy you a service manual just for your tractor. not an it manual or other manuals just one specifically for your tractor. contact your local school and see if they have an automotive class. Some times schools will actually fix cars, etc for people to give there students the experience. its not a hard job but a little time consuming. I'm guessing 4-6 hours to replace that seal. with what shops charge it will be expensive. Another thing you might check into is is there any farmers around you. they might be able to help you. check to see if there is any ford clubs around. You also can try a stop leak of some kind. might be worth a try. another remedy if its not leaking much just wire a small can under the hole the oil is coming out and empty it once in awhile. that will keep the oil off the floor. good luck on what ever you decide.

Where is it leaking from? Different places could be a different seal or problem. How much is it leaking? A drop a day or a quart an hour? The more info you provide the better answer you will get. I have two jubs and they tend to MARK their territory. So how bad is the leak?
