I was pushing snow

I was pushing snow with a 48-8n and the hyd quit. I drug the blade out of the ditch and checked the pto. It became disengaged so I put it back in. Still nothing got mad and parked it. Thought I would wait till it warmed up some. It got up to 45 one day so i opened up the look'ee hole and there was a bunch of turbulence. In the front of the pump. I changed the safety valve that took 3 hr that helped but I looked in the look'ee hole and saw a bunch of fluid coming from the top. It got real cold and today they forecast another 5-6 inches of snow. It's 8 above so I went to work on the bleeding bi*** took off the top cover and saw it blew a gasket. I changed the cylinder and put new rubber O ring on piston put it back together and lifted the lever-nothing - then 7 seconds later the heavy blade leapt into the air. You never know how much you need a little tractor until you got nothing but a shovel and 7 inches of snow.

Nice story.
Nothing like necessity to give a guy some
determination.
I've seen guys that would have taken a dozen
posts and twenty replys to locate and solve a
similar problem.
So kudos.

Sounds like you had the parts on hand to do the fix, nice job! Especially at 8 degrees!

I, on the other hand, never seem to have everything needed, lol.
