2N 3 point will not stay down

Got my hyd pump all put back together and now my 3 point will not stay down. It raises and lowers fine but when I release the control it comes back up. Do I just need to calibrate the quadrant?

There is a cork shaped disc that goes between where your control lever is attached to your tractor, there is a chance that this has gone bad. The handle will want to rise up if your cork disc has gone bad. You can get a sheet of cork at walmart or any hobby store and cut it out and place it in there and it will create the friction to keep the lever down.

I found some fiber washers I think were for a Woods mower blade. Corrected that problem.

The guys on this forum helped me out with this same problem a few years ago, replaced it and haven't had a problem since. Glad it solved your problem too.
