We ended up with around 4-5" of very pretty, fluffy snow yesterday (it felt like we were in a Hallmark movie as it tapered off). Temps are plunging today (currently 5°, headed down to -14° or so tonight), and the wind picked up overnight, leaving me with some 1-2' deep drifts in all the usual places.

Just finished and decided to come in and warm my toes and tuckus before heading back out to the shop to continue cleaning out and organizing the tangled mess its become over the past few years.

Very nice picture.
Spent about an hour on my 2N cleaning driveways and pushing it way back.
Snow blade on FEL is great for making big piles of white stuff.
OK so some of it isn't pretty white now lol

Nice! Hope you're staying warm. I pulled out my Dad's snowmobile suit, circa 1969, to do chores this morning. Kept my plenty warm. :)

Ed- no rear Dearborn blade had hydraulic 'tilt' action for the 8N. The N's hydraulics supplied both the 3-point system and the transmission. There are front mount blades -snow plows, V-Plows, Dozer Blades but they all work on the 3-pt hydraulics and/or a mechanical lifting system. You'd be better off with a Hundred or Thousand Series model if you want better snow plowing action using separate hydraulics. Now, that being said, many have fabbed their own styles of snowplowing equipment on N's. Old friend farmer Dan made his own front blade with mechanical lift action using a winch design and with the addition of a Dearborn Rear Back Blade has the perfect snow plowing machine. The winch only comes in 12 volt models so he had to convert the system to 12-volts. He has an early 1940 9N but also added the Zane Thang to allow POSITION CONTROL to the lift.
