2n Generator Brushes

Hi new here. I got a hold of a 2n 3 weeks ago and got the engine running. The generator pulley is rusted on. Anyone know how to remove the pulley? I also have been looking for brushes and no luck on any site. If someone has any of these used parts I would be interested. Generator 3 brushes, radiator cap, air intake tube from filter housing to carburetor. #9N247211
Repair book is in the mail.
Thanks

Pulley is threaded onto armature shaft. Soak with penetrating oil, heat if necessary, chuck armature in vice and un-screw pulley.

Which generator do you have? the 2N-10000 model will have a .59-20 threaded armature and pulley, yes that is the correct thread size and pitch, and there should be a "C" clip on the end securing the pulley from coming off. The generator is a 1-wire/3-brush type, and brushes are available almost everywhere -try nnalert. The 3rd Brush has an adjustment screw on the back end plate. Most decent starter/alternator shops can fix you up and if not contact me. You have to use one that knows about old 6-volt Ford generators. There should be a generator tensioning bracket as well. It is in three pieces. A small part is bolted onto the housing, a spring loaded tensioning bolt fastens thru it and the to another bracket fastens onto the head bolts. Like this:

Hey Tim I believe I have the right one. This one has the C clip and the adjusting screw in the back. Not sure what the adjustment screw is all about. I did find the brush kit on Just 8n's thanks for that. Regarding the pulley removal. If I'm facing the pulley, does it rotate counter clock wise? I'm also looking for used parts. The air cleaner pipe and radiator cap. Also the glass sediment bowl with the name ATLAS MASON on it. This one is broken.
If I cannot remove the pulley, I will ask you if you know someone that can do it.
Thanks

Hi Tim it looks like I have the same one. Are you selling the one in your picture? The adjusting screw on mine is not factory.
I did find the brushes on Just 8n's thanks for that. If I can't remove this pulley I will ask you for further instructions.
I'm also looking for the breather tube from filter housing to carburetor, radiator cap, and the sediment bowl for the air filter that says ATLAS MASON mine is broken.
Thanks

How do you make it stick to the side of the barn like that?

I have several original Ford tractor generators rebuilt and for sale. If you want to discuss further, my email is open. The one in the picture is being rebuilt now. I would sell it with the tensioning bracket, all complete when finished.
