601 freeman loader bracket needed and hydraulic connections

I have a 1950 late model 8n and a 601 freeman loader I want to install on it. I need a front bracket and the info on connecting the hydraulics. Any help is appreciated.

You'll need to make a front bracket. It attaches to the two front pan bolts and the pivot pin.

The loader cylinders are plumbed off the test port. The line comes up between the right running board and tranny and then crosses over the tranny cover to a T where the rubber lines connect. Do yourself a favor and buy quick disconnect fittings.

Be very, very careful w/ the threads in that test port. That pump port is threaded 1/2-20 straight thread.

I'd get a test port fitting from The Old Hokie and modify it to fit your plumbing to the cylinders. http://windyridgefarm.us/

Just remember if you are going to plumb into the test port, you will have to chain the lift arms down.

I would have to go look but I think there's a bracket for a pump mount at my dads. The loader was a freeman trip bucket but I don't know the model. I'm sure if I looked in dads old manual box a manual maybe there as well. The loader is long gone but I'm fairly sure the pump and bracket are still there. Maybe even the connection drive rod assembly. I'm positive the oil tank is as I'm planning on using it on another project. I won't be able to go look till after turkey day. E mail me next week end to remind me to look if you think this maybe what you want.
