after being away from this forum for about 10 years or so, I just recently got the bug to play with 8ns and 9ns again...

I just found out about a pair of rear wheels for the early 2N tractors...and yes they still have the lugs on them. It sounds like they were removed many years ago, and have been in a barn ever since.

can someone out there post a pic of some original steel wheels for a 2N??? Thanks,

Tom T

This is the set I have. I believe them to be original.

I have seen a 2N war model. No starter with mag that has S shaped bars on wheels at Lindsey Tx tractor show. Original ???

Thanks for that info Tim.
Mine is # 110*** with a starter, rubber tires and no choke provision on dogleg.

Here's a set I picked up. They were actually used on an 8n. Has center adapter plate. The lugs on here are only about 1 1/2" high. Still enough to rattle you teeth in high gear. Someone told me they came with
3" lug and an optional 4" lugs but I don't know this for a fact.
