I?ve been helping a gentleman with his 9n restore project and we?ve
been pulling out hair out trying to figure out why it won?t start..
Everything is wired correctly but when you push the start button the
starter powers up and spins but doesn?t engage the flywheel and will
not turn the engine over. The ring gear looks great and the starter
and bendix are brand new. We even put another starter and different
bendix in and same problem.. spins but no engagement. Any ideas,
or has anyone else had this problem? Thanks we have run out of
things to try. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
