I acquired a couple of Farmall distributors (pics posted separately) which appear to be mag replacements.
Does anybody know what they may be worth? Can't find any info on them.

Thanks.

The one on the left is a Delco. It was made to replace a magneto. It is very similar to the one Allis Chalmers used. I have one on my SC Case.

The one on the right is an IH. It was factory equipment on IH tractors starting about 1950. It can be used in place of a magneto. Very common to find IH distributors on AC or Case tractors.

The problem with an IH distributor is people loose the short screws holding the points or condenser. Then they replace the screws with longer screws that contact the advance weights under the breaker plate. When the try to start the tractor it causes severe damage to the distributor.

Does the IH have good gears and turn smooth?

I buy both styles of distributors off ebay for $45 each.

The shafts appear to be turning smoothly. One of them has IH written on the
distributor cap; the other has IH on its housing. I'll put them on Craigslist.

I appreciate your input. Thanks.
