9n wheel bearings

Which way does the open (larger) end of the bearing cup (cone) face on the wheel bearings on a 9n? Wasn't enough left to see and am rebuilding the front end. Figure it will make a difference.

Just like a Model "T" or about any other vehicle out there that uses conventional from wheel bearings!

Bob's pic is great. I grew up washing and repacking bearings on our cars, trucks and tractors. There were no torque wrenches in
our barn except a calibrated wrist, arm or pipe. We would bring the spindle nut up to "snug" and still allow the wheel to turn
freely. Then back the castle nut off (loosen) one notch for the cotter key to slide through. One leg of the cotter key was
wrapped around the nut and the other leg bent over the end of the spindle. Replace the cap.
May not have been right by some specs but we never had a problem.
ps I still do bearings the same way.
