9n Hydraulic Pump Removal

I tried to drop the hydraulic pump out the bottom of my tractor. I had the control valve released, the pto shaft removed, and all the bolts out. The back end seemed like it would come down, but the front was hung up. I do not have the transmission seperated. Some one asked if the pto was engaged, and I'm pretty sure it was. The videos online show it coming straight down with a floor jack. Any ideas would help. Thanks.

Once the rear is down a bit, slide pump to rear. Got to get rear of PTO shifter out of front of pump. The two housings telescope a bit.

You don't need a jack other than to jack the tractor up high enoufh so you can lay under it and drop the pump.. Leverage izz yer friend..

When I remove a pump I either jack the tractor up and put it on stands or the way I like to do it is drive the rear wheels up on car ramps, block the wheels then roll under it and remove the pump no jack needed. You will git a little fluid on ya. When you raise the tractor up that gives you the leverage needed to handle the pump.
