As I finish my 41 9n iv been looking on craigslist.seeing 5 or so 9/2 N's under $1000 .

So I may pick up another.maby to put a one arm loader on that my friend has for sale cheap.

I've seen post on other sites saying it's impossible to mount that loader on 9n ...then seen a post we're Kirk did mount one .so it's possible I guess? Kirk wanna expain how you fabed up mounts?I don't understand the term short box/ long box on loader.?

Also does anyone have pics of. "chaining down the 3 point"? I heir the term used alot and don't wanna beak anything.im assuming it's super simple as wrapping chain around axle. Any advice is

It's not impossible to mount a one arm loader to a 9n/2n with the fabrication of brackets.
I used standard 8n hip and under brackets, which are very hard to find. Then fabricated a front and under steering box brackets.
One of the problems with the flat bracket for under the steering box is that the increased height of the bracket raises up the steering box/shifter. This can cause the shifter end to jump out because it doesn't extend down far enough. Which might leave you hung up between gears. If your shifter pin has worn down the shifter housing than this might not be a problem.
Would I recommend putting the one loader on a 9n2n, no, but if you are up for the challenge I will help you as much as I can. My email is open.
Long and short box are measured from the top of the box on the frame. Long is about 5 1/2" short is about 3 1/2" inches. You want the long box for the 9n/2n.
Chaining down 3pt is simple just wrap a chain around the top of 3pt arms and around the axle.

If you are set on the one arm loader, and you don't yet have the tractor, make life easier for yourself and get an 8n.

I also agree with R Geiger. Lots of fabbing to put one on a 9/2
Better yet, look for a Hundred Series to put it on. Brackets for those are by far the most common. The tractors can handle. one too.
The first one arm bandit I ever owned I bought from Palmer Fossum.
It had been on an 8N and the fellow who owned it tried to do too much with it and broke the tractor in half - literally - broke the transmission. Palmer bought it that way. Winched the pieces onto his trailer, brought it home and replaced the transmission. I bought the loader.

Thanks for the advice guys.im not up for a bunch of fab work.
There is a 850 on Craigslist in boonsboro MD 10 miles from me for $750 it had been in a fire no tires left but looks good I might go look at it and offer $500 cash

I hope you know what you're getting into with fire damage.
I've done two now and will probably never do another.

Yuk, what a mess. I watched some of your other videos, and noticed that you're pretty lite on the dialog.

Usually I just put them out there and link them here, explaining what they're for.
I guess I should do a bit better job for the folks who do watch them.

Looks like too much work . I'm definitely not trying to reinvent the wheel.
