Had my clutch stick on my 1950 8N so I ordered the
kit from this site. With my oldest son we had the
tractor split and clutch replaced and back together
in less than 2 hours. Not nearly as bad a job as we
anticipated. Minor adjustment of the clutch and back
in business.

Did you also replace the t/o bearing, pilot bearing & transmission seal?

You're doing good in 2 hours; takes me that long to find the jack stands............. ;)

Yup! Replaced the t/o and pilot bearings but didn't have the tranny seal. The clutch housing was dry as a bone though.

Yea, two hours is good time. A lot of people spend days trying to free up a stuck clutch when a split usually only takes a few hours. Don't know what they are afraid of. Ain't really any big deal.once you do few splits, when the tools are readily within reach, you'll trim some time off in.
Good job on your clutch

Thanks Kirk! The kudos go to my oldest son. The man is an absolute wizard with mechanics. He had his own small engine shop when he was about 10. He's 46 now.
