Almost bought a 464 International utility with IH loader. 8 forward, 4 reverse, diff lock, power steering, IPTO and live hydraulics. Just went 300 over the limit I set for myself at auction.....had I bought it I guess the 2 8N's would be looking for a new home.

Might have been a nice tractor to have around!
I noticed you said the 8Ns were getting hard on the body in
another post. I believe it's all that changing of implements.
Solution is to buy one tractor for each implement and don't
change them. Of course, if a tractor breaks down, you need
a spare tractor. One for each implement that is... ;)

How can a guy that spent his best years riding around in an anvil with a 75mm ablaze not be
comfortable on a 8N lily pad. Next time set no limits they are just an obstacle to success, just
make it up when ya sell the 2 Ns 150 each that 464 is home to stay.

Royse, That would require a total of 20 tractors for one on each implement and a spare for each. So ummmmm NO! I see what yer doing......wanting me to buy so many that prices go up.....

L,B, 75MM????? 105 and 120 MM on the tanks I rode on! The US Army hasn't used the 75MM on a tank sense they went to the 90MM on the M26! They went to the 105 about 1960 when the M60 was adopted. Compressed disk in my neck and a permanent upper back injury are making the ole N's mighty uncomfortable. Little more HP would be nice too.

Ok Rick. Glad you missed this one that bucket looks to big for it and you know they filled to the
brim. Leaving that bald tire on the front tells me po didnt even want to invest in a better tire for
the sale. IMHO

I think the PO put those tires on it like that to mow his grass landing strip. Didn't want ruts.

From the looks of the loader in person it wasn't used too hard, maybe pushed some snow

wow, what a nice tractor, I sure would like to have that tractor with front end loader,

looked like a nice tractor, for $300 you may be spanking yourself in the future.
as long as it had power steering,

once years ago I had a neighbor that had a case backhoe, with loader, it had that shuttle transmission
what a beast, could move or pickup most anything, dig holes etc,
I had use of it for a while, really got to liking a tractor with a strong front end loader.

wellmax: Who says the other guy wouldn't have gone 4900?

I have a backhoe. Plus a loader on a IH 1206. Don't really need another loader. Wouldn't say no to one, just don't really need it.

It is a nice tractor. Wish I could have got it. Still gonna look for something that fits my needs.
