OT - Gave the Fergy a half-bath

I say half bath because I didn't break out the pressure washer,
just hosed it off with a garden hose and rubbed it down.
Seems to clean up nicely.
Yes, I took the exhaust off and painted it.
Preservation more than prettiness.

Looks okedoke. The thing Fergy had I liked was the pop up hood wish Ns had that. Look back down on the posts I left
you a post on the return spring. I also did some more on ebay selling fake M/S carbs and every
complaint on ebay seems to fall on deaf ears cause ebay is behind the ploy, as far as I can see.

I like the flip up hood too. But if you want a bumper on the front
you have to have one made for a Fergy that will flip out of the way.

I saw your post that said you didn't need the spring. No worries.
I just thought I'd offer it so you didn't have to go buy one. :)

As far as eBay goes, eBay is a money making machine.
Both for eBay and for their sellers, which I am one of.
eBay itself doesn't sell anything except their service.
Very similar to the Amazon model that makes them billionaires.

What are you calling a "complaint" that fell on deaf ears?
If that's feedback from a disgruntled buyer, it does not fall on deaf
ears, but it is weighed against the seller's prior performance.
Quite harshly on the seller I might add.

What I did was report the seller for selling goods that were
counterfeit or advertised as something they were not.
That's not the same thing as negative feedback.
That opens eBay and the seller up to a law suit if they don't fix it.

ebay an Amazon have lots of time and lawyers and I dont think their worried about any lawsuits
they would tie a little guy like me up forever. Heres what I meanI. tractorguy2 wrote. I sell toy
parts on eBay. I use to have the brand listed as "replacement". Then ebay started to cancel my
listings. Ebay claimed I was using a invalid brand name. I had to change my brand name to "Ertl"
or use a OEM name like John Deere or Allis Chalmers. Or like this ? to seller from buyer. Your
carb is missing parts you are selling it as used, used means it works. Seller sends this reply .

If you read the guidelines on eBay you would not message me. Please contact eBay because we don't
care. Also we don't want to do business with you. We get a pleasure of cancelling transactions on
eBay just because we can. By sending a message upfront alerting us to you being a potential threat
we won't complete a transaction with you. We also tell ebay constantly WE HATE BEING POWER SELLERS
FOR THIS F REASON. I must say something is going on this is not the ebay I though I was dealing
with. Well I think we are just beating a dead horse

"ebay has bazillions of users so I would not a expect a response to a complaint."

WW2N has not answered my question as to what he called a "complaint".

If I call my local car dealer and complain about their prices, I
wouldn't expect them to do much about it. If I stand on a soap
box and wax nostalgic about how a Ford 8N was sold new for
~$500 I would expect them to do even less.
That's simply complaining.

"You must have spent some time at the rubbing part."

Not too much, it took about an hour.
It was a nice way to spend part of Saturday afternoon. :)
