Proof meter

Hey folks! I have a 1952 8N 12volt conversion. I'm looking at a new proof meter. I have send ones that are for 4 speed trans and 5 speed. Most do not say that. They just say proof meter. So does it matter which one I get? I know from experience stay away from overseas! Tried one of those and it runs super fast. The gov has been rebuilt so it's working great. Is there a certain one anybody would recommend? Thanks for any advise!

You need to get one specifically for an 8N four speed.
Not a Jubilee/NAA or 600/601/800/801 4 speed nor a 5 speed.
The 8N proofmeter hooks to the governor.
The others hook to the hydraulic pump which spins at a different
speed which likely caused your previous one to read too fast.
