Found my original 9N

I bought a 9N tractor back in the 1995 and used it for various projects on my old farm land for about 15 years. I bought a bigger tractor and the old 9 didn't get used much anymore so I sold her at auction in 2011. Of course after I sold her I regretted it but moved on. A few weeks ago I was looking through Craigslist for some Bush Hog parts, when I didn't find what I was looking for I looked at another online website. While browsing through I saw an ad for a 1941 Ford 9N. Of course I had to look. I was surprised when I opened the pictures and it was a blue and gray paint scheme just like mine. Turns out the gentleman bought it at an auction 6 years ago! Sure enough when I gave him the serial number it was a match. What are the odds that I just happened to look at a different website the day after he posted the ad? Well I had to at least go see it. Besides converting it to 12 volt and putting some fresh paint on it it hadn't done anything to it. We talked for a bit and I couldn't help myself but make him an offer. Long story short is the old 9 is back home and it was only $200 more than what I sold her for 6 years ago.

I have a 30-30 Winchester that I have owned at least 4 times. Traded a set of horse harness to my brother for it originally. Sold it, bought it back, traded it , given back to me etc. Now I call it that boomerang gun. It keeps coming back. This time of course to stay.
Same goes with that tractor. Better keep it this time.

I told SWMBO if SadieMae, my 43 2N, ever has to go I go with it!
She stopped complaining about how much time and money it takes me to keep her running.
I guess she realized I wasn't joking.
