9n wiring harness

Had the wiring burn up on my 1940 9N. Trying to replace it and having some difficulty figuring out what harness I need. It is converted to 12v. Harness 9N14401C looks right, but says it is for 6v system only. I found a 8N14401B but it doesn't look correct either. I can cut it in but I really want to fix this right instead of rigging it like the last one. Any help is really appreciated.

Call or email the supplier. What worked for one of us may not work for you because of the supplier.

6 are 12V don't matter you can make either harness work...
I prefer the 8N harness myself. Fish for JMOR wiring diagrams I think he has a diagram using a stock 6V harness.

There are several different ways to convert to 12 volts. I doubt
you will find a harness that will work without modifying it.

General way to do it using a original replacement harness. Sorry don't have a 9N diagram... Either way you are taking the regulator out use those wires to your advantage, Complements of JMOR his work not mine...

Amp meter is of little to know use install a voltmeter in its place...
Nuttin wrong with using a replacement harness its cheap, efficient and neat...
