For sale on eBay, a 350 c.i. V8 powered 8N.
I guess just because you can....
I wonder if he beefed up the trans and rear end to handle the HP and torque?

They will never see the HP and torque. It is a trailer queen.

TOH

When the Ns were still being built, Funk Aircraft was buying them from Ford and subing in 6s and V8s. They also sold kits that dealers would install. They were mainly for belt work. It gave them reserve power which prevented blower plugs and other such problems

(quoted from post at 14:48:40 08/02/17) I believe that is one of Marv Baumann's V8s. The tractor (and the scenery) I have visited.
I'm thinking you're right.
The seller is a marv8n in Monroe, Michigan.
There is another one listed that has four transmissions by him.
Interesting from an engineering point, but practicability is doubtful.

That Fourtrans would definitely win any slowest tractor competition anywhere it went. And think, that's one N that you could very
well run a rototiller with...if there is any hp left after going through all those transmissions lol

I want one of them one of these days,
well I want it right now as a matter of
fact, when I retire in about 8 years you
can bet I'm gonna throw one together and
I want to put dual rear wheels on too
