I need some idea what the 1950 8 n is worth. No one in the family is interested in keeping it,and I will be emptying out the old farm buildings,,wont have a place to store it inside. It runs great,,around 14 years ago the back tires ,tubes and rims were bought brand new, they are not loaded with liquid at all...plus it had lots of other work on it too at that time.It has never been stored outside or in the rain for 14 years,,I just put a new battery in this spring,it will start right up. I Know they dropped in price, but I need to figure out some idea .It is in pa.For the past 14 or so years it has been babyed, and not seen much hard work.

I see them on Craigslist in northeast Penna. for around 2200 to 2500. I just looked at one that was nice, but missing some small stuff, he was firm at two thousand on it. I think I am going to keep looking for something a little bigger, maybe a Ford 4000 or something, not that much more.

I'm sorry to hear that Larry. Your daughter looked so cute on it.

Around here a nice one like yours might bring $2000 but I don't
know about your neck of the woods.

Sorry to say Larry but the old 9n/2n/8n aren't going for much money these days. Agree with Royse's $2000 or less. With so many good running hundred and thousand series available at about the same price seem nobody's willing to pony up the cash for the old N tractor.
I stopped buying the old N's for resale cause by the time you spend money and labor on them to fix them up your lucky if you make a couple hundred off it.
There might be someone at the end of the rainbow willing to pay a higher price but it might be sitting outside for a long time. I see them listed at the higher price but never see them sold.
Good luck with the sale.

I don't understand it but for some reason they seem to sell better and sell for more in New England.

Just saw a dog the other day 8N it ran but was tired and beat. The hydraulics were dead and needed repair so no three point lift. And it sold for $2k!!!

I usually see really nice 8N's with good rubber all around and good tins and good paint job sell 3,800-4,500!!

Around here non running parts tractors go for $1k...

Mabye consider putting a classified ad in the N news magizine, that is widely circulated through NE and ya might be able to get a lil more.

here in Montgomery county pa 1500/1800.00. if you even find a buyer. me personally, I would love to have it but have to sell another tractor first. (bosses orders)

Nice looking 8N.

Around $2,000 in my area if you are patient. Maybe a bit more if you get lucky.

You can also put an ad on this site on the left side on the home page.
You may reach more people and will get a better class of people then Craigslist

Nice 8n.. Any buyer looking for an 8n would be interested in your tractor.. Sounds like a solid, non abused 8n.

Kirk,,I put the hiller together,,never got to use it,,It sure was nice meeting you. The farmall cub dream I had is pretty much squashed now. But,,I sure did like that yellow cub,,,,

That one is one of my favorites for the garden.
Never give up the fight Larry, Thoughts and payers are with you.
