More 9N woes

And it just keeps getting better and better.
I'm going out on a limb here and say rebuilding this governor is NOT an option.
On the plus side, some new slingshot ammo

Original 9N governors, often restored/rebuilt, pop up often on fleabay... Governors were different on 9N/2N tractors than the 8N one. early 9Ns di d not use an oil lube line -that was an added feature on the 2N governor but dealers were instructed to add an oil line if a customer brought it in for service. There is a Manual too on the early governors on the other site...

This one does have the oil line fitting.
A rebuilt has been ordered.
Hoping that this will be the last problem for awhile, and it gets back to mowing the horse pasture.

Update:
New governor installed, oil supply verified.
Replaced the distributor cap, #2 nipple had cracked insulator.
Started on the 2nd whirr, no choke needed. Dinked around with the idle speed and max speed set points, and had my friend take it for a turn around the pasture. Working good, so drop the mower and engage the PTO. After mowing a few passes, he hit a rock and sheared the mower shear pin.
Sigh.
What can I say, maybe that pasture is not meant to be mown.

Also, I couldn't read a serial number on the block, but the right trumpet has a casting date of 12-12-46, so, thinking it's a 1947 tractor.
