all 10/30. all API rated SN.

question: any reason to not mix them so I only have one container to find space for?

Will NOT go into any modern vehicle engine.

thanks.

just noticed the small container is synthetic. will NOT mix that one.

From the mobile 1 web site ( from memory )

You can run full synthetic and switch back to conventional with no problems . In the early days there was a myth that once you used synthetic that was all you could ever use in that motor . You can run full synthetic and add a quart of conventional if you are low on oil and that is all you have available .

When mixing synthetic and conventional you lower the superior qualities of the synthetic but do not lower the lubricating qualities of the conventional .

Bottom line is they are compatible .

High Mileage oil is Synthetic blend... Whats dat info worth dunno but its a synthetic blend. Conventional motor oil is getting expensive and harder to find. I can buy Blends and full synthetic OEM approved cheaper than name brand conventional oils

The line between "synthetic" and "conventional" engine oils is very blurry. In today's world highly refined mineral oils (VHVI/UHVI Group III) are the base oils used to formulate many "100% synthetic" engine oils. Castrol lead that charge when they won their lawsuit with Mobil and the industry, including Mobil, has followed their lead. Synthetics that are formulated with only Group IV and V base oils are the exception rather than the rule. When you see an engine oil labeled as "conventional" you can pretty safely assume it contains a significant percentage of Group II base oils....

Way back when I was young and oil came in quart cans you had to stick a spout in, my uncle who owned a gas station /garage, had a roll boy tank with a home made angle drain you could set the cans on to catch the last bit that didn't make it into the oil change on cars I used that stuff for years in my rigs long before multi vis oils were dreamed up good stuff....... 8)
