17. The long side goes up on the left side. The long side goes down on the right side.
Seems like the short side got shorted. ))

Not sure I'm following you here.

On the right side, the long side is down as in the pic. Just the opposite on the left.

If I am not mistaken there is a left and a right threaded adjuster; That is so the adjusting tool is moved in the same direction on both sides.

The star thingy has to be in line with the adjuster opening on both sides.

Yep.

I put them in backwards once. That's were the tip came from!:)

After careful reading I see I spoke of what I had not read carefully. Sorry. It just sounded funny, I was expecting to see the short side mentioned somewhere. )

That's great as long as you know what direction to adjust them. I think the adjuster tool end moves toward the front of the tractor.

I'll "parrott" that! A very nice tool for new owners and a great
reference for those that have been around a while to refer to as well.

It will actually move both ways Cary. One to tighten, the other to loosen.

I get it wrong every time I try it from memory! LOL
