No Seat Time - Didn't Need to Rake!

Well, I mounted the rake on the 8N last night in anticipation of raking today, but when I got home from work, the hay was ready to go "as-is" without being raked at all. So the Boomer 8N got a workout running the NH 273 while the 8N watched from the sidelines. Made some beautiful hay, too (second cut).

Clouds rolled in while I was baling, but no rain in the forecast. Already picked up the bales and they're in the barn.

Always enjoy your photos. Don't know what you do for a (real job) 😈😈!!!, but you sure seem to
know how to stage photos. Could make some extra greenbacks!! Greg NE

Ed,

I don't understand. Did the 8N rake the hay all by itself while you were at work? :)

What do you mean by, "ready to go as-is without being raked at all" ?

I cut on Monday, and had not raked it yet. When I checked th hay, it was dry enough to bale without raking two into one windrows, so that's what I did...

Many thanks... I'm an industrial designer by education, and by day, I manage product branding for a large earthmoving equipment company. These are all iPhone photos - my professional filmmaker/photographer son has all the expensive kit.

I've learned to stop and get the photo when I notice a good scene or lighting, etc., as it often doesn't last more than five or ten minutes.

Besides, Gary needed a new desktop photo for his PC anyway!
